This month, join me in praying for protection over our LPA workers and around the plans God has for NYC and beyond.
Holy Spirit,
We sincerely receive You as our Counselor, our Comforter, our Strength and our Guide. Thank You for sealing us and the Luis Palau NY CityServe Teams in Christ. We know You as our Lord, and ask You to lead them and the National Prayer Team into all truth, to anoint them and lead us all deeper into Jesus today. We fully open our lives to You in every dimension and aspect—our body, our soul, and our spirit—choosing to be filled with You, to walk in step with You in all things. Fill the Luis Palau Ministry and their teams afresh, blessed Holy Spirit. We receive You with thanks and give You total claim in our lives.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for granting to us every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. We receive those blessings into our lives today, and ask the Holy Spirit to bring those blessings into the Luis Palau NY CityServe teams on behalf of NYC, all five boroughs as well as Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester County and Connecticut.
We put on Your armor and pray for the armor of God to cover the entire Luis Palau NY CityServe Campaign and all their endeavors to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to NYC and the outlying areas. According to Ephesians 6, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the readiness of the gospel of peace, the helmet of salvation. "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground." We take up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and we wield these weapons against the Evil One in the power of God. We choose to pray at all times in the Spirit, to be strong in You, Lord and in Your might. We "pray also for Luis and Andrew, that whenever they open their mouths, words may be given them so that they will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel." Ephesians 6:19
Father, we thank You for Your angels. We summon them to war for the The Luis Palau Campaign and their households. They dwell in Your shadow so no evil shall befall them, no accident shall overtake them, and no plague shall come near their homes. You command Your angels to their side, guarding them, the LPA, their families and homes in all their ways (Psalm 91). Your angels encamp around them and deliver them in every circumstance. Joel 2:11 says, "His forces are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey His command."
We thank You, Lord, for the National Prayer Team and for posting "watchmen on the wall who will never be silent day or night, who call on the Lord" (Isaiah 62:6) standing in the gap, praying for NYC and the Nation! We ask You to send forth Your Spirit and rouse our National Prayer Team, unite them, raising up the full canopy of prayer and intercession on behalf of the Luis Palau NYC Campaign.
We call forth the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that the authority of the Ancient of Days, the King of Glory may come in (Psalm 24:7-10) and enter the Gates of NYC and that the nations of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 22:17-18).
Isaiah 1:26 says, "Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful (New York) City."
